Refreshing Ginger Lemonade
This refreshing ginger lemonade is the perfect thirst-quencher on a warm day. Made with fresh ginger, tangy lemon juice, and a hint of sweetness, it's both invigorating and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water, honey, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer, stirring until honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the ginger syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Discard the ginger solids.
- Add lemon juice and 2 cups cold water to the pitcher. Stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
- Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and mint if using. Enjoy!
